The Mission figs were out of stock so we figured we'd get a bag of Turkish figs instead. Both of us were STUNNED to find that the Turkish figs were soft and filled with the best fig jam we've eaten. The figs were soft and easy to bite - we thought they'd be leathery and unpliable. Mission figs are good but the Turkish figs are far better - at least from Superior Nut they are!

These figs are good and seemed fresh, however, because they were shipped in a bubble mailer, rather than a box, many had dark bruises. This doesn't affect the flavor, it's more of an aesthetic issue.

Turkish figs are some of the tastiest commercially available figs. I ordered 10lbs and separated them into meal saver bags for long term storage. Ordering from Superior was fast, easy and shipping was fast. I plan to order other items in the near future, the only problem is deciding what to order, there are so many goodies to chose from! I'm a very satisfied customer and will definitely recommend buying from superior Nut Company!

Superior Nut Dried Turkish Figs retain their flavor and natural sweetness longer and better than other Turkish Figs I have bought. They do not arrive as a " tough chew" but rather a succulent fruit. Tough to eat just one !

I had been purchasing organic Turkish Figs from another source for a few years. The supplier for the company ran out and I got tired waiting, and decided to try another source. I first ordered 10 lbs., and the very day I received them after eating a few I immediately ordered 25 more lbs. The main reason I ordered again so soon was because I wanted more figs from the same lot number, and was guaranteed that would be what I received. The lady who took my order and helped me was very friendly, patient and helpful, which is not always the case when placing orders by phone. By the way I'm a long time raw foodist and eat lots of these figs daily, they have the highest source of iron of any fruit, and are one of my staples.
